We offer competitions with prizes such as energy-efficient appliances, grocery vouchers, fuel credits, utility bill payments, and other items that make a real difference to everyday expenses.

Our mission is to make competitions more accessible and beneficial to South Wales residents through low entry costs, transparent processes, and prizes that provide genuine value.

Our competitions are open to all residents of South Wales aged 18 and over. We currently deliver prizes to postcodes beginning with CF, NP, SA, LD, and HR.

You must have a valid UK address, email address, and phone number to enter. We currently do not accept entries from outside of South Wales, though we may expand to other areas in the future.

We believe that competitions should offer prizes that genuinely improve people's lives, especially during challenging economic times. While luxury items and expensive cars are exciting, they often come with ongoing costs that many people struggle to afford.

Competitions & Entries

Our competition process is simple:

  1. Browse our current competitions and select one you'd like to enter
  2. Answer a simple multiple-choice question (this is a legal requirement for prize competitions)
  3. Choose how many entries you'd like to purchase, starting from 50p per entry
  4. Complete your payment securely
  5. Receive confirmation of your entries via email
  6. Watch the live draw on our Facebook page at the advertised date and time

If you win, we'll contact you immediately to arrange delivery of your prize.

Our entry prices start at just 50p per entry, making them accessible to everyone. We also offer discounted bundles:

  • 1 entry: 50p
  • 5 entries: £2.50 (Save 50p)
  • 10 entries: £4 (Save £1)
  • 25 entries: £10 (Save £2.50)

Some higher-value prizes may have different entry pricing, but we always keep our competitions affordable with options starting at £1 or less.

We're committed to responsible gaming and encourage participants to only enter within their means.

Most of our competitions run for 1-2 weeks or until they sell out, whichever comes first. Each competition page displays a countdown timer showing exactly when the competition closes.

We launch new competitions every week, so there's always something new to enter. You can subscribe to our email newsletter to be notified when new competitions go live.

If a competition sells out before the scheduled end date, we may draw the winner earlier. In this case, all entrants will be notified of the updated draw time.

Yes, to ensure fair odds for everyone, we set a maximum limit of 100 entries per person per competition. This helps prevent any individual from dominating the entry pool.

For some high-value prizes, we may set lower maximum entry limits, which will be clearly stated on the competition page.

We believe that competitions should be accessible to everyone, regardless of budget, which is why we maintain these limits and ensure our entry prices start at affordable levels.

All our competitions have a guaranteed winner, regardless of how many entries are sold. If a competition doesn't sell out by the closing date, we still draw a winner from the entries purchased.

We never cancel competitions or roll them over to future draws if they don't sell out. This ensures that every competition results in a winner, maintaining the excitement and fairness of our platform.

Due to the nature of competitions, we generally cannot offer refunds once entries have been purchased. When you purchase an entry, it is immediately entered into the competition and cannot be withdrawn.

However, there are exceptions to this policy:

  • If a competition is cancelled for any reason, all entry fees will be refunded in full
  • If there was a technical error resulting in duplicate charges, we will refund the additional charges
  • If you have specific concerns about a purchase, please contact our support team within 24 hours, and we'll review your case individually

We encourage all participants to carefully review the competition details before entering.

After completing a payment, you'll see a confirmation screen on our website and receive an automatic email confirmation. This email includes:

  • Your entry numbers
  • Competition details
  • Draw date and time
  • Payment receipt

If you don't receive this email within 5 minutes, please check your spam folder. If you still can't find it, contact our support team with your name and approximate purchase time, and we'll check our records.

You can also view your active entries at any time by logging into your SAPrize account and visiting the "My Entries" section.

Winners & Prizes

Winners are selected using a certified random number generator (RNG) during a live draw on our Facebook page. Here's how it works:

  1. Each entry is assigned a unique number when purchased
  2. At the draw time, we use a verified RNG to select a random number from the total entry pool
  3. The entry matching that number is the winner
  4. We announce the winning number and cross-reference it with our entry database to identify the winner
  5. The winner's first name and location (e.g., "David from Cardiff") are announced during the live stream

This process is completely transparent and can be viewed by anyone tuning in to the live stream. We also save recordings of all draws for future reference.

If you're a winner, we'll contact you in several ways:

  • Email: We'll send an email to the address associated with your account
  • Phone: We'll call the phone number you provided during registration
  • Account notification: A notification will appear in your SAPrize account

Additionally, we announce winners on our social media channels and website (with permission). We recommend watching the live draw if possible, but it's not required to claim your prize.

We'll make a reasonable number of attempts to contact winners. If we cannot reach a winner within 14 days, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

We aim to deliver all prizes within 14 days of the draw date. The delivery process varies by prize type:

  • Physical products (appliances, etc.): Delivered to your door by courier, with tracking information provided
  • Vouchers: Digital vouchers are emailed within 48 hours; physical vouchers are sent by recorded delivery
  • Utility bill payments: We'll contact you to arrange direct payment to your utility provider
  • Experiences: Vouchers or tickets will be provided with booking information

For large items requiring installation, we'll coordinate with you to arrange a convenient delivery date. Some prizes may require additional information from you before they can be fulfilled.

In most cases, we do not offer cash alternatives to our prizes. Our competitions are specifically designed to provide practical items that help with the cost of living, not cash payouts.

However, we understand that sometimes a winner may already have the exact item being offered. In these exceptional circumstances, we may, at our discretion, offer an alternative prize of similar value or store vouchers. This is decided on a case-by-case basis.

If you have concerns about a specific prize, please contact our support team before entering the competition.

In the UK, prizes won through competitions are generally not subject to income tax. Competition winners do not typically need to report their prizes to HMRC or pay tax on them.

However, tax laws can change, and individual circumstances vary. We recommend consulting with a tax professional if you have concerns about the tax implications of a significant prize.

SAPrize is not responsible for any tax liability that may arise from winning a prize.

Account Management

Yes, you need to create a free SAPrize account to enter our competitions. This allows us to:

  • Securely store your contact details for prize delivery
  • Keep a record of your entries and purchases
  • Contact you if you win
  • Provide personalized recommendations

Creating an account takes just a minute and requires basic information such as your name, email address, phone number, and delivery address.

You can update your account information at any time by following these steps:

  2. Click on your name in the top-right corner
  3. Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu
  4. Update your information in the relevant fields
  5. Click "Save Changes"

It's important to keep your contact information up to date, especially your email address, phone number, and delivery address, to ensure you can be contacted if you win.

To view your past entries and competition history:

  1. Log into your SAPrize account
  2. Click on your name in the top-right corner
  3. Select "My Entries" from the dropdown menu

This page shows all your active and past entries, including:

  • Competitions you've entered
  • Your entry numbers
  • Purchase dates
  • Competition status (active, completed, won)
  • Entry receipts (downloadable)

You can filter this view by date, competition type, or status.

If you wish to close your SAPrize account, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Go to Account Settings
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  4. Click on "Close Account"
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm your decision

Alternatively, you can contact our support team who can process this request for you.

Please note that closing your account will:

  • Prevent you from entering future competitions
  • Remove your personal information from our active database
  • Maintain records of past entries for regulatory purposes

If you have active entries in ongoing competitions, we recommend waiting until these competitions have concluded before closing your account.

Internet Explorer is not fully supported as it has been discontinued by Microsoft.

  4. Check that your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds
  5. Ensure you've completed all required fields in the entry form

All our competition draws are streamed live on our Facebook page. To watch:

  1. Visit facebook.com/saprize at the scheduled draw time
  2. The live stream will appear at the top of our page
  3. If you've "liked" our page, you may receive a notification when we go live

If you miss the live draw, don't worry. We save all our draw videos on our Facebook page and website for you to watch later. Winners are also notified directly via email and phone.

You don't need a Facebook account to watch our live draws. The videos are public and can be viewed by anyone visiting our page.

If you haven't received your confirmation email after entering a competition, please follow these steps:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Add [email protected] to your safe senders list
  3. Check if you entered the correct email address (you can verify this in your account settings)
  4. Log into your SAPrize account and check the "My Entries" section to confirm your purchase was successful

If you've completed these steps and still haven't received your confirmation, please contact our support team with the following information:

  • Date and approximate time of purchase
  • Competition name
  • Payment method used

Regulatory Information

Yes, SAPrize is fully licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission under the Prize Competition regulations (License No. 12345).
